Our biggest piece of news for the moment is the fact that you are now looking at
Sempervirens from the comfort of your home or office, hopefully with a nice cup
of something hot in your hand. Tom’s fond of Rosemary tea this month. We decided
to launch a new website not just for your convenience, but also for ours.
You
can now browse through our product lists, have a look at what’s available, what
their prices are and hopefully place your orders for delivery or collection.
Plus you can get some great gardening tips from Tom and a little bit of gossip.
We are hoping that by being able to visit us online, we can be of help 24 hours
a day, rather than the 8 hours that when Sempervirens is open. Very soon we’ll
upload our FAQs and instructions on how to calculate how much soil you need, or
how many plants you’ll need per square metre.
The Sempervirens website is also
for our convenience as it’ll save us from having to answer common questions and
give us more time to ensure that the products you require are available and that
we provide a better service and can spend more time with you when you do pay us
a visit. One day you may even get made coffee when you arrive. From a cafetiere
(a posh coffee, as Tom’s mum calls it)
As with all new babies we expect a few
teething problems. But all babies grow and we have great expectations for this
baby. We want this site to be efficient and easy to use. There’s nothing like
being able to save a bit of time for more important things like smelling roses.
