Ah, plants. That’s what we do best. Tom is passionate about plants - Tree by
name, Tree by nature. What is core in his beliefs, and therefore those of
Sempervirens, is the importance of learning. Latin names are bewildering to
some, but confusing to others. Ask Tom if you want to know some funny ones to
get you started. Plant sizes are equally confusing - which pot size is best?
Well, we'll tell you. How often do you water/prune/feed - it's all on the label.
Of course, we run this nursery to sell plants, but we want to provide you with
as much information as we can. This website will help you learn about Latin
names, give you planting ideas and above all, provide you with entertainment. So
many plant-related websites simply say "here's the plants, there's the price".
That's not good enough. You'll notice that the "buy online" feature is only a
small part of the website. We want to tell you about us as people, you can read
tom's Blog to find out the latest gossip, and you can find links to other
websites that we actually like, rather than links to poor quality generic
websites.
