Sempervirens has its turf specially contract grown from two different companies
to offer more choice. You could have turf with brown soil (mineral based) or you
could have turf with black soil (organic based). Either way, make sure you lay
it green side up.
If you’re feeling flush, go for our Select Turf. It far surpasses anything you
can buy from garden centres. It’s deep green in colour, and good enough to eat.
It’s well worth the extra money.
Sempervirens has three key tips for turf that sound simple but are very
important:
1. Always buy FRESH turf. That is, turf that was cut no more than two days ago.
2. Always lay the turf the day you receive it
3. Always keep it well watered
