Sempervirens bark mulch is a mid to dark brown colour of non uniform size. Bark mulch is great as a natural mulch. Apart from its attractive appearance it is mainly used to inhibit weed growth as well as improve moisture retention. Other benefits are; encouragement of beneficial soil organisms, insulation from temperature fluctuations and reduced runoff in the winter.
