Green roofing (Enviromat) is a one metre square slab of sedum matting, containing up to five types of Sedum which allows for all year round colour and texture. Green roofing flowers in the summer and is great for attracting wildlife to an area. It is also a low maintenance garden product.

The uses of Enviromat are limitless – the roof of a shed, a grass alternative or even as a replacement for slabs in your patio! Green roofing can be placed on sloping or flat surfaces, but a drainage mat is required for a flat surface.

Water retention matting
Required on all roofs as a method of water storage, allowing for constant and even distribution of moisture to the sedum. Not required if enviromat is used on the ground.

Drainage mat
Required on all roofs where the pitch is less than 30 degrees. Although sedum likes a fairly constant supply of moisture, it cannot survive in a poorly drained environment. Drainage mat ensures the run-off of excess water.
