Our story

Sempervirens began in March 2003. Steve Evans, who runs Kingston Garden Services Ltd, wanted his own nursery onsite in Twickenham to provide him with a regular supply of plants. Local landscapers quickly saw the benefit of sourcing their plants from Sempervirens - it saved them spending an hour round trip travelling to the nurseries in Woking. Today, when you realise that you're one roll of turf short, it takes five minutes to pop back and grab one.

What started as a puddle-ridden, messy yard has now become a smart, organised nursery, with plants laid out in beds, proper pathways and clear signage. Sempervirens was revamped in January 2007, with new fences, windbreaks and gravel beds. The nursery is now stocked with a large variety of plants, trees and shrubs at reasonable prices.


Sempervirens aims to:

1. Provide good quality, well labelled plants at reasonable prices.
2. Stock a wide range of popular plant varieties.
3. Provide customers with helpful and sound advice.
