We stock two different sizes of sleepers 2.4m and 1.2M. Railway sleepers are a cost effective and attractive alternative for landscape construction.

These excellent quality sleepers can be used for all types of landscaping projects including raised beds, decking, edging and steps.


Treated with Tanatone these sleepers are safe for use around children’s play areas, raised vegetable beds and water courses whilst still having long-term protection against fungal decay and insect attack.

The brown colour of Tanatone provides a great natural finish which blends in with most surroundings.

How to use sleepers

Sleepers can be used for a variety of outdoor landscaping projects. Garden Borders, raised beds and lawn edging, they can also be used to make steps and retaining walls.

There are so many options available for gardeners to create wholly unique spaces. It will also give your garden an amazing look!

Timber sleepers are a natural product and may contract, expand and distort with the seasons, splits,shakes and fissures may be present and are not considered a defect.

All goods are delivered using a 17ton Mann Hiab Lorry (dimensions: 2.7M wide, 7.0M long, 3.7M high). Please ensure your delivery address is able to accept this size vehicle. We accept no responsibility should the driver be unable to deliver.

Please note: We do not guarantee a delivery time. Should you require your purchase for the morning we advise that you order it to be delivered the day before.
